This is my third attempt at blogging. My first was pretty successful, my second less so, but I'm hoping to buck the law of diminishing returns with my all new blog. This all new improved blog is 30% fact free and (mainly) dolphin friendly while still containing all those 25 letters of the alphabet that you have grown to know and love (I really hate Vs after many a spoilt scrabble rack).
My main reason for becoming a born again blogger is the frankly fascist character limits of social networking. Brevity may be the soul of wit, but I like my status posts, like I like my pizza; extra large and meaty (but no anchovies). Why say in 140 (or 420 in facebook) characters what you can sprawl across pages and pages of monitor real estate.
In all honesty (make the most of this because I cannot vouch for future honesty), I sort of enjoy the writing process, and it may be a cliché (after all clichés are as clichés do) but i find it quite cathartic, andright now I need all the cathars I can muster.
The title of Now and Jen is just another poor pun, but it describes what will be a mix of journal (Now) and reminisce (Jen) which even if no one reads will drag me out of this blogless trough that has blighted my last year.
But hey, enough of my yakkin'; whaddaya say? Let's boogie!
